Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical details of the request (browser, time, page requested) to deliver the page and protect it from attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookie consent

We use the Silktide Consent Manager to ask for and record your choice. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage, not sent to us. The banner's files are loaded from the jsDelivr content delivery network, which receives your IP address to send them. Legal basis: we are required to ask for consent (§ 25 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) and have a legitimate interest in doing so reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the cookie icon in the bottom left corner of every page.

Analytics (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4)

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how visitors use the site: which pages are visited, for how long, and from which source. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_NV9S1KSQZ7) that are kept for up to two years. Google states that Google Analytics 4 uses your IP address only to estimate your rough location (country, region, city) and then discards it, so IP addresses are not stored. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG). Without consent, these cookies are not set.

Fonts

The site uses the Hanken Grotesk font from Google Fonts, loaded from Google's servers. To send the font, Google receives your IP address. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a consistent look across devices (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contacting us

The contact form on the home page sends your name, email address and message to us through Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA), which forwards it to our inbox and keeps a copy for up to 30 days. This means your data is transferred to the USA; Formspree relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for this. When you use the form or email us, we use your name, email address and message to reply and, if we work together, to prepare and carry out that work. Our email is hosted by Google Ireland Limited (Google Workspace). Legal basis: steps before a contract or the contract itself (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), otherwise our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete messages when they are no longer needed, unless tax or commercial law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect anything done before. To use any of these rights, email thomas@measurelift.com.
